WEEK ONE, DAY 2: REACHING OUT TO THE WORLD

Thursday 14th January 2010



Through all the pain and destruction caused by the devastating earthquake in Haiti, there is still hope and the will to survive is strong. A woman buried under the rubble of a crumbled building reaches out for the help. This picture evokes strong emotion; the woman’s eye contact with the camera is like a cry for everyone who sees it to bring aid and assistance.
