WEEK ONE, DAY 5: HOPE FOR HAITI

Tuesday 19th January 2010

In the middle of destruction and chaos hope comes to Haiti in the form of a US aircraft. This picture is intriguing for three main reasons: in the background there is Haiti’s palace, in the foreground many devastated Haitians gather to watch the US aircraft in the middle ground land. The aircraft signifies help, rescue and hope to Haitians in Port Au Prince, Haiti.
